LED lighting suppliers plans increase capacity

According to DisplaySearch's latest Quarterly LED lighting suppliers and demand forecast report, LED applications continued to rise, lighting will gradually become the main application, expected usage in 2011 will grow 20% over 2010. 2010 LED backlighting and lighting revenue was 7.2 billion U.S. dollars, 2014 is expected to reach 12.7 billion U.S. dollars.  LED Lighting manufacturers demand increase is the main driving force to achieve strong growth.
While suppliers are aware of this trend and has plans to increase capacity. We forecast 2011 global LED production capacity will reach 1,000 80 billion, 2013 will reach 2,000 27 billion.
